SHOE CARE GUIDE
Thank you for purchasing IMAC footwear. Our
Products
are manufactured from high quality
materials and components.
The following
shoe care instructions
will hep you to keep your shoes beautiful and comfortable. To
preserve your shoes and remove shoe moisture, change
your shoes everyday and let them dry away from heat and sunlight.
LEATHER SHOES
Leather shoes need regular cleaning and care
with wax polishes or shoe
cream. Select the closest colour to your shoe - if in doubt use a
neutral shade.
Before cleaning ensure that the shoes are dry and remove all surface
dirt and
dust with a damp cloth. Antiqued finishes should be handled carefully.
With
natural material you may get slight variations in the surface colour
and
texture, this is the nature of the skin and shouldn’t be mistaken as
fault.
SUEDE AND NUBUCK SHOES
Extra care should be taken when cleaning these materials. Gentle use of a
suede brush with a Suede/Nubuck cleaner will remove most stains. If your shoes get wet, let
them dry naturally,
then brush them gently with a suede brush. Please note - Suede and
Nubuck
leather cannot be guaranteed as entirely colourfast and therefore some
loss of
colour may occur.
SYNTHETIC SHOES
Synthetic shoes should be wiped carefully with
a damp cloth to remove
any dirt or dust. Synthetic Suedes and Microfibres should be cleaned in
the
same way as Suede and Nubuck.
FABRIC SHOES
Once dirt and dust has been removed, clean with
a rubber brush or use a
fabric cleaner. Fabric shoes are generally not washable as this can
cause
permanent damage to the fabric and components.
DECORATED SHOES
Rhinestones, beads, and
sequins, can become damaged or even lost, so care must be taken in wear.
